The Trade Show Advisory Council discusses issues of concern regarding trade show policies and practices and assists and provides feedback to the Director Trade Shows & Conferences.

Regulatory Affairs Advisory Council

The Regulatory Affairs Advisory Council discusses emerging regulatory issues of concern, assists and provides advice and feedback to the CHFA President and/or his/her staff on regulatory issues of concern. 

Organic Advisory Council

The Organic Advisory Council discusses and further investigates issues impacting member businesses in the organic sector, assists and provides advice and feedback to the CHFA President and/or his/her staff to develop CHFA’s position on these issues and assists CHFA in raising awareness of and the demand for organic products.

Retail Advisory Council

The Retail Advisory Council brings forward and discusses issues of interest or concern to retail members, and assists and provides advice and feedback to the CHFA President and/or his/her staff on retail issues of concern.

Communications Advisory Council

The Communications Advisory Council brings forward and discusses issues of interest or concern related to communications and public relations including CHFA’s public relations campaign and assists and provides advice and feedback to the CHFA President and/or his/her staff on issues of concern.

Government Relations Advisory Council

The Government Relations Advisory Council discusses and provides advice, feedback and recommendations on strategically selected current issues primarily at the federal level, as well as provincial issues that have national overtones, as decided by the President or his/her designate and Board of Directors. Topics may include, but are not limited to assisting in the development and evaluation of the annual government relations strategy and participate, as requested, in CHFA’s federal or provincial government relations activities.

Supplier Advisory Council

The Supplier Advisory Council brings forward and discusses issues of interest or concern to supplier members, and assists and provides advice and feedback to the CHFA President and/or his/her staff on Supplier issues of concern.
