Advocacy kit helps in effective meeting of MPs
CHFA has created a grassroots advocacy kit, in collaboration with Impact Public Affairs, for members to use when approaching their local Members of Parliament (MP).
A PDF version is available here.
The lobby kit contains information about the current situation with the regulation of natural health products. It outlines, step-by-step, how to make contact with your local Member of Parliament (MP) as well as providing a sample letter that members can personalize. The sample letter is also available online in the members’ only section.
It’s a great time to visit an MP as they are in their constituencies now and will be until March 3rd. MPs were originally supposed to return to Parliament on January 25th; however, Prime Minister Harper decided to prorogue government until March.
