Body Mind Science Resources (BMS) is the premier source and retail supplier of the highest quality natural health care products. We have two locations, one located in Vaughan and one in North York, inside the College of Naturopathic Medicine.  

An Assistant Manager position is currently available at our North York location.  We are looking for a team-player who is willing to learn and further develop their skills; someone who is detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects at once and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager position is a full time position and we are looking for someone who is accountable, a good team player and who upholds the values and beliefs of BMS Resources.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Providing customers with an exceptional customer service experience & educating them on the benefits of natural health products
  • Inventory control
  • Merchandising – maintaining overall appearance of the store
  • HR support (interviewing, on boarding, training)
  • Maintaining the web store & social media
  • Managing customer shipments
  • Shipping & receiving
  • Internal transfers
  • Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and vendors

Requirements:

• Product knowledge and previous health food store/retail experience is an asset.

• Working knowledge of natural health products
• Organized with great time management skills
• Passionate about health and wellness

• Point of sale computer skills

• Basic math skills

• Able to work independently and in a team environment

Must be a Nutritionist or equivalent to apply for this position.

Hours: Full time

Compensation: Wage commensurate with experience
