We’re looking for an Account Manager to lead retail sales in Ontario. This role is ideal for a passionate Account Manager who wants to build with current customers and create new customers. The Account Manager, Ontario, will be responsible for managing and building with current and prospect retailers. You will work to grow and support sales, as well as spark the best health in customers. Our established retailers include: Healthy Planet, Whole Foods, Nature’s Emporium, Goodness Me, Nature’s Source / Nature’s Signature, Ambrosia, Big Carrot and many other fine independent retailers.


About the Position:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing retail accounts, building and maintaining long-term relationships and maximizing sales opportunities.  This person will have to achieve high sales targets in a high growth territory. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building with existing accounts, as well as holds responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new customers.

This role is focused on being in retail stores for the majority of your time, and working from home on planning and administrative days.

Duties of the Account Manager include:

  • Manage account relationships and provide excellent service and support
  • Build new business relationships and accounts throughout the Territory
  • Review accounts for gaps with existing and new clients to generate business growth
  • Achieve sales targets and goals
  • Laser focus on understanding key account needs and requirements
  • Work with National Key Accounts Manager to implement annual plans and adjust based on business needs
  • Provide in-store support including regularly scheduled visits, meeting with buyers and staff, merchandising, order management support; training and education including demos.
  • Develop marketing plans and forecasts for all accounts
  • Analyze all internal sales data from the Company as well as from the client to prepare regular progress reports, and correction plans if needed to meet sales objectives
  • Share suggestions for improvement to senior management and National Key Account Manager

Requirements of the role:

  • Established experience in natural health and retail sales
  • Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Focused on customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to build relationships
  • Enjoy building warm relationships, sharing knowledge and growing in a long-term position
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Degree in Commerce, Administration and or Nutrition.
  • Strong skill set with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
