Q. Where is the show held and how can I get there?

A. CHFA West is held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building, located at 1055 Canada Place. Access is available by foot, car, or public transit (walking distance from the Waterfront Station Northbound). For directions to the VCC West building, call 1 866 785-8232 or click here. Q. When is the show?

A. Conference: - February 21 and February 22, 2019

Trade Show: February 23 and February 24, 2019 (10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily)


Q. Who can attend the show?

A. CHFA West is a trade only event that is open to individuals currently working within the natural health products, specialty food and organic industries. The primary target audience for this show is retailers and health professionals who sell or professionally recommend natural health products or organics directly to consumers. CHFA trade shows are not open to the general public. All attendees will be required to provide proof that their company is involved in the industry. Forms of acceptable proof include, but are not limited to, a business license, business card, pay stub with photo ID, or health care accreditation. Refer to our Policies for detailed information on requirements.


Q. Who exhibits in CHFA West?

A. Leading suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and brokers of natural health and organic products exhibit. Click here for the CHFA West Exhibitor List.


Q. I received an “Attend as our guest” invitation or a customer code from an exhibitor. What do I need to know?

A. The complimentary pre-registration passes are valid for retailers and health practitioners only. Simply register online, before the date specified, using the code provided on the back of the invitation.

Q. How can I register to attend the trade show?

A. You can register online before the pre-registration deadline, or onsite during the show.


Q. What is the cost to attend the trade show?

A. CHFA Members are always FREE!
     Non-Member Retailer or Health Practitioner $35 (online pre-registration)/ $55 (onsite  registration)
     Non- Member Distributor, Supplier, Manufacturer $225 (online pre-registration)/ $350 (onsite registration).

Please ensure you register under the appropriate category for  your business as we do verify all non-member registrations.  Trade show registration fees are non-refundable.


Q. Can I bring my spouse/friend/family member with me?

A. All attendees must be working members of the industry and must be able to provide proof of industry status.


Q. Can I bring my child/infant?

A. CHFA encourages a healthy work/ life balance and as such children under the age of 18 are welcome to attend the show, but must be supervised by a guardian at all times. Infants and children under the age of 16 are not permitted within conference sessions. CHFA reserves the right to limit the use of strollers on the trade show floor during peak times if necessary.


Q. Can I bring my wheeled cart?

A. Wheeled carts (including luggage) are not permitted on the show floor. A coat check area is provided free of charge for attendees to store wheeled carts while visiting the show. You can also ship your samples home with ease through CanPar Shipping using low flat rates from $8 to $26.


Q. How many bags/items am I allowed to bring off the show floor?

A. There is no limit to the amount of samples an attendee can collect from exhibitors. Please ask before you take. Not all products on display are intended as samples.
