CHFA will strive to issue ITC(s) in a timely fashion, usually within a few business days. If you have a time-sensitive request or large volume orders, please contact CHFA directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org.

The issuance by the Canadian Health Food Association (“CHFA”) of an International Trade Certificate (whether for an NHP, for DIN-HM, or for GMP Compliance) is subject to the following terms and conditions, and by submitting an application for an International Trade Certificate to CHFA you (the “Applicant”) agree that:
- The issuance of an International Trade Certificate by CHFA is based solely on a review of information applicable to the Applicant and available on the Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate of Health Canada website, at the time of the issuance of the International Trade Certificate, and is reflective of information on that website to the currency of that website.
- The application fee paid to CHFA is non-refundable regardless of whether CHFA is, or is not, able to issue an International Trade Certificate based on a review of the Health Canada website.
In no event shall the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) or any of its officers, directors, employees or agents be liable to the applicant or any third party, for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, losses or other amounts, including without limitation, financial loss, loss of revenue or loss of profits, for any reason whatsoever, including negligence, arising in connection with the issuance of, or failure to issue, an international trade certificate. In no event shall CHFA’s aggregate liability exceed the amount of the application fee, if any, paid to CHFA by the Applicant.
