Nature's Fare Markets - Bistro Manager

White Rock, B.C.

Nature's Fare Markets in White Rock is looking for a full time Bistro Manager to become a leader in our award winning store!  In our Bistro, every ingredient is carefully chosen: fresh, organic produce, ethically raised and grass-fed meat and dairy and products without additives and preservatives.  We also work hard to cater to a variety of food tastes, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and paleo diets.  We make fresh juices and smoothies, gourmet sandwiches & wraps, salads, hearty soups, entrée’s and an array of baked goods.

  • Strong problem solving, and decision making skills         
  • Have an eye for merchandising

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be comfortable working on a computer
  • Strong attention to detail and can balance interaction with daily paperwork
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management/supervisor role
  • Previous food service or restaurant experience
  • Experience in a customer service field


  • Educated in related field of study an asset
  • Food Safe


  • Supervise and mentor the team – takes initiative in resolving problems
  • Manage inventory and writes orders
  • Set the standard of customer service expected by all bistro employees
  • Actively work with bistro management team to meet standards of operations
  • Manage your time well while handling multiple tasks under pressure
  • Have a hands-on approach in the Bistro empowering a team to excel
  • Conduct performance evaluations and aid in staff development
  • Maintain and promote updated knowledge of company policies and procedures
