Newco Natural Technology - Sales Representative

Toronto, Ontario

Looking to add to your existing health product offering for your store/retailer base? We are a natural health products manufacturer seeking experienced sales representatives to increase our revenue and maintain customer relationships, in Toronto and surrounding area. We’re looking for a results-driven sales individual to actively engage new store/customer prospects. In this role, we require outstanding sales skills with a proven track record in the health products industry. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs, to ensure Newco Natural Technology sales growth. You will service established accounts as well as seek new business within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities:

  • Presenting, promoting/training and selling of Newco products to existing and prospective customers
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships
  • Setting and meeting sales targets to increase territory revenue

Job Description:

  • Present Newco products, literature and pricing to prospective and existing stores/customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer complaints and/or account issues to maximize satisfaction
  • Assess store inventory and find innovative ways to increase wholesale stock purchases
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Keep abreast of best practices and health industry promotional trends
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
  • Maintain a territory list and visit customers every 60 days to ensure optimum product display
  • Monitor competition within assigned region and liaise with head office for new product launches
  • Submit weekly updates/sales reports and return calls/emails to head office within 24 hours

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of health products industry knowledge/experience required
  • Must not represent direct competitive brand(s) and willing to sign non-disclosure agreement
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue in similar industry
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Knowledge of MS Office an asset
  • Fluent in French an asset
  • Own vehicle and driver’s license (Class 5)

Compensation:

  • 10% commission on all serviced accounts in your designated territory (including existing Newco accounts and newly established opportunities)
