Natural Specialty Sales - Natural Specialty Sales

Natural Specialty Sales is a consumer products management organization, providing strategic operations and sales execution services to consumer brand companies competing in Canada.  Our focus is on Natural / Organic product lines, both Food & Beverages as well as Health, Beauty and Wellness products. 

We have an exciting opportunity on our Natural Health Food Sales Team for an Account Manager to be located in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland region. Using superior sales skills to address and fulfill customer needs, this position will involve management of a diverse portfolio of food, supplement and natural personal care brands in the Natural Health Food Retail Market.

Principal Accountabilities

Territory Management: 

  •     Maintain an appropriate coverage discipline to ensure that plans are achieved
  •     Achieve new product distribution goals, and 100% authorized distribution levels
  •     Accurately report in-store results through tablet provided
  •     Monitor and report competitive activity

Business Planning: 

  • Understand and execute business plans and merchandising activities for key brands; including adherence to national planogram, products priced and tagged accordingly
  • Sustain comprehensive knowledge of product features and benefit
  • Manage key independent retailer volume & trade spend / yearly promotional plans

Customer Development: 

  • Use your consultative and selling skills in order to impact immediate wins as well as long-term customer partnerships with our Retail Customers.
  • Ensure in store personnel are adequately trained on priority brands


  • 4-5 years of related experience required  – Natural Food/Supplement/Personal Care Sales, Naturopathic Medicine, Registered Holistic Nutritionist
  • Experience selling or strong knowledge of health supplements
  • Proven ability to build & sustain cooperative business relationships & develop business solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of account planning processes
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Some overnight travel required for national sales conference & trade show events
