Job Summary: We are looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team for the Northern Alberta/Prairies Area in a permanent, full-time capacity. As an Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include providing sales and customer service to a defined territory of new and existing customers, building and maintaining a regular call cycle, developing business plans and marketing for customers, coordinating demos and trainings for both retail staff and consumers and contributing to the overall growth of TallGrass. Some travel, attendance at tradeshows, educational seminars and sales meetings will be required.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Consistently exceed quarterly sales by brand budget as defined by the Western Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and education ability
  • Consistently manage marketing programs in the territory to support sales growth
  • Continuously build strong relationships with retail staff and buyers
  • Continuously build strong relationships with other TallGrass stakeholders such as vendors and co-workers


  • Sales personality
  • Previous account management experience
  • Previous natural health retail experience, preferably as buyer/manager
  • Natural health education/educator ability
  • Self-motivated, go-getter, ambitious, high achiever, competitive, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Passion for the natural health industry
  • Organized, detail oriented
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Works well independently
