Job Description

Responsible for project management, developing and managing business activities, leading the development of tools and processes for full execution of marketing and sales plans. Coordinate all scheduling & fulfillment of marketing materials and campaigns. Track and analyze marketing program performance. Communicate with retail customers, prospects and consumers to provide information regarding company products and promotions. Coordinate and communicate both internally with departments (e.g. operations, finance, fulfilment, customer care), and externally (e.g. suppliers, associations, other partners).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Product Launches: Competitive research gathering and analysis; packaging development; sales collateral support.
  • Competitive Analysis: Support research on market conditions, industry standards & competitive activity.
  • Communication and Advertising: Assist in creative development; and coordinate advertising placement and schedules.
  • Website Management: Update content and keep it fresh, with new health related articles and product information
  • Digital Marketing: Creative development of online advertising; education; social media; scheduling e-newsletters.
  • Manage Marketing Budget & Reporting: Manage budgets, issue POs and performance reporting.
  • Event Management: Trade and consumer events; identifying new events; coordinate product demos in-store.
  • Compliance Responsibility: Adherence to Canadian advertising law/standards, Health Canada label regulations/claims.
  • Sales Operations: Support sales with roll out of new sales initiatives; retailer listings and communication with sales team.


  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications related roles with focus in project management
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or related business field preferred
  • Project Management designation preferred
  • Experience in natural health or health related industries an asset
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to use data, complete analysis, create presentations.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
