Unlock the future of the Canadian health food industry at NEXT by CHFA. This one-day virtual event is focused exclusively on cutting-edge innovation, trends and education in emerging categories like CBD, plant-based, functional foods and more. It also features engaging speakers, like special keynote Dr. Morgaine Gaye, Food Futurologist.
NEXT by CHFA is specifically designed to create collisions between trend setters (suppliers), trend makers (retailers), and trend accelerators (investors) to facilitate conversation and spark opportunities – which can be hard to come by in our current climate.

Transforming the concept of a live health and wellness show, this one-day consumer focused event will give Canadians the opportunity to connect and engage with your brand in ground-breaking and bold new ways, virtually. With an extensive line-up of speakers including influencers, experts and brand ambassadors, consumers will be able to attend educational sessions, cooking classes and stroll through the show, all from the comfort of their home. CHFA Connect – New and Improved
April 16 & 17, 2021
Since we won’t be meeting physically this spring for CHFA West, CHFA Connect will bring us together virtually. As an expansion of our inaugural CHFA Connect that took place in September of 2020, this event will build on the success with even more ways to engage, expanded educational offerings and more opportunities to network and connect. Similar to our live event, the show will take place on a Friday and Saturday to allow attendees to explore on their own time, at their own convenience, without the demands of the workweek. With 24/7 access and additional on demand options, attendees can create their own schedule and explore booths at a time that works best for them. We will be sharing more event details in early 2021 including opportunities for exhibiting and sponsoring.
September 16-18, 2021
While ensuring the health and safety of all show participants remains the priority, we are hoping by September, we will be able to be together in Toronto again. Planning is underway for a two-day virtual conference on September 16 and 17. This will include live and on-demand sessions with exceptional speakers and engaging education. On September 17 and 18, we will be hosting a live trade show giving retailers the opportunity to discover the latest trends and product innovation. Please note this important day pattern change for the trade show as we will be open on Friday and Saturday to accommodate retail buyer schedules. More details will be coming in spring of 2021.
October 22, 2021
A one-day event focused on the organic sector, this virtual gathering will connect the retailers and brands specifically dedicated to organics. The organic sector has shown time and time again to be leaders in the care of the land and the ingredients that people consume. This event will showcase not only the top brands on store shelves but will provide an opportunity to learn about what is on the horizon for organics in Canada. There will be opportunities to network with new contacts, learn from leaders and discover emerging trends and knowledge within the industry. Look for more details in spring of 2021.
